i dont drive my car hard at all. never take off really fast. where can i get a cold air induction for the s/c? do i make it or something?

I am ordering the s/c tomorrow from avalon for 32xx.00

The CAI will be a custom thing you will need to do. You can order the KN filter from hotrods.com they sell them for $35.00 shipped from KN. You will need a 3 1/2 inch boat exhaust clamp off the Donovans catalog, just let the boat shop know that when you go. The rubber connection piec and a piece of bent piping you can see the instructions in Chestons website www.maximadriver.com he has a how to section.

Invoice : 12-21-01-02
Description : 1 K&N RU3530
Amount : 35.00 (USD)

Actually my buddy Matt was giving me some Vortech stickers but I just prefer to keep the blower to myself vice advertising it. Is more fun since the car sounds differently then others.

How much boost do you get off a 3.0 pulley?

Do not cheap out on gauges. EGT is very essential & how you install it is also important. EGT is a fancy name for "Pyrometer" which is what I have. Summit Racing Part# ATM-5744. Cost: 120.00!!

Also, Fuel Pressure gauge is essential with the sleazy 'band-aid' FMU method that Stillen (and pretty much every other boost kit) uses to deliver the extra needed fuel.

Good Luck.

EDIT: A 3.0 pulley on V2 blower gives 10-11 psi BOOST!

Well, not really necessary. If the pressure drops below threshold, your CEL will come on right away. An oil cooler kit would be a better, more worthwhile investment...
