when my first max hit 100,000 miles (got it at 84,000), i felt sad, you know like when you graduated from highschool, that last ceremony and what not...like a whole life has ended with this car and a new one is about to begin

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I know. But you can trust it's all highway...a few years in the military made sure of that. Between NY, NC, and AL ....rack'n up mileage was easy

As for anniversary mods.....Do you think an oil/filter change and transmission fluid flush will count?

97glemax hugh?....Judg'n by the name, I think it's safe to assume that the year of your car is 97 right? So is mine....I wonder if 100k is about average for cars in our year?

Correct I have a 97 but I put a lot of the miles on at school. I was going between RI and MA a lot back and forth from my gilrfriends school and mine so it is all highway. Still runs like a charm.

Suddenly, I don't feel so old anymore Hokiemax, you've definately taken the mileage Crown with that one. That HAS GOT TO BE all highway miles right? What did you do at the 100k mark to keep her runn'n supreme?

ya tell me about it, ive had the car for almost a year now, the car had about 95,000 or so, so ive driven about 5,000, i dont go places much just to school, store whatever, and i dont have a job right now, which im looking for, plus everything is very close, the last person who had it was an older women i think and she didnt drive much, but believe it or not the tranny went out at 75k which is totally gay, but now it has a new tranny and lots of other fixed goodies so its gona last a loooonng time

Congrats to all of you who've hit the 100K mark. I just did too a couple of weeks ago. (I've got 102,000 on my '98 now.) Took a pic on the highway when the odometer flipped to 100K. Check out my homepage...

I feel your pain. I hit 100,000 two weeks ago. It was a big moment for me. I bought my 97 SE last May, and it had 65,000 on it. Now I have 102,000.
