Some various questions....I'm a car n00b still :P
Okay first off there is a guy who services my car every 3K miles, mobile service, will come to your home or work and check all fluid levels, change oil and air filter, generally check things over, etc. Aynway he put air in my tires this morning, changed the oil, put in a new air filter and filled up the various fluids. Anyway the tires were all at 20psi, and he filled them to 34psi (tires say 35psi on them). Would there be any reason to have had the tires at 20psi? Just wondering why they were all the same and not just like one tire that was a little low or something. It does seem to handle better and u-turn better now :P Responds to smaller movements of the steering wheel better which I guess is a good thing
Also my car seems to accelerate better now, would that be because of the new air filter? I didn't ever look at it myself to see how dirty it was but I know it was changed.
Also, since the car has 66K on it I'm thinking of going over some things and replacing some stuff. I don't know what the last owner did as far as a 60K maintenance. I was figuring I'll change the fuel filter and spark plugs for sure, but is there anything else I should look over?
Thanks for any suggestions

check your knock sensors.........your O2 sensors..........about the tires.......i guess the max reccomended is 35......but 34 is just fine, i use to put a lil less in the fronts than the rears, cause i didnt like the "bouncy feeling"

This guy come to your home of business and takes care of your car for you? SWEET!
The increase in performance you feel is from both the tires and a new air filter.
At 60K your due for a major service. Don't panic, it's all easy stuff to replace and your personal service guy might be able to do it all for you. Except maybe your transmission service, which by the way Nissan does for like 69 bucks. Definately have that done if your an Auto.
Check your owners manual for the 60K service schedule. You should be replacing spark plugs, fuel filter, PCV valve, clean your throttle body ect.. It's DIY stuff and shouldn't cost your more then a buck fity to have a service guy change these things for you. Spark plugs are expensive for our cars. Your local dealer, believe it or not, will probably be the cheapest place locally to buy the plugs. Auto parts stores will charge you an arm, leg, and part of your left nut for NGK PLatinum plugs. You can also obtain them from various .com stores on line at descent prices.
Search this forum for 60K tuneup and get to reading.
Good Luck!

As far as all the tires being at about 20 lbs. The weather effects it as well. When was the last time they were filled, August maybe? And depending on where you live say in an area that has around 80 - 90 degrees in the summer. And now may be down to say 40 or so? Well for each 10 degrees the weather drops you loose around 1 - 2 psi in the tires. The air compresses from the cold and gives them the deflated look. So that might just be the problem. Nothing much just check it when the tempature drops another 15 degrees or so for the winter months.
