well i just got all 3 o2 sensors changed because it was thorwing CEL.
i thought i read somewhere that there was a recall on the o2 sensors.
btw, i have a 1995 maxima. if there was a recall, would the dealer reimburse me for the charges i paid to get the sensors changed? does anyone have documents of this recall if any?
i know people are going to say use the search function but i couldnt find anything useful so i am posting.

 

I just bought my 2 front sensors from foreignpartplace.com $55 each shipped...very good deal. I'm going to have to buy the rear o2 from the deal (arrgghh) for $110...everywhere else is sold out of them/out of stock. I did hear that there was a recall for the 96 and some 95. Unfortunately I have a 97 and there isn't a recall "yet." You can call the Nissan North American number, give them you VIN number and they'll tell you if there are any outstanding recalls or anything.

 

I would think that since you didn't have the dealer do the work, they will not reimburse you. If they do thats pretty cool of them.
