My friend has a '95 Max GXE all stock and I have a '95 GXE as well, automagic with hybrid intake and stillen rear section. How close would the 2 of us be, or what other mods do I need to keep up with 5 speed max's. I've got about $300 spare and want to get some more mods, but I dunno if I should get a Y pipe or drop the car down 1.5" all around?

I put my y-pipe b4 I lowered my max. I dont regret it but dont think I would have regreted it either way. I think I'd get a y-pipe 1st. You can almost do bith a y-pipe and springs, Sprints were on sale for 129, and a budget y for 225.
