short ram intakes

"I had an OBX intake which really did not work well at all, It sounded like you were going top speed when you floor it but it's just loud. It also makes your engine lag also. ANY short ram intake will suck in the heat off the engine bay. I wouldnt recommend any short ram intakes to anybody.The AEM made a huge difference if you were comparing to the short ram intakes."

this OBX intake was the $80 one that someone recommended to me, but this guy totally slaughters it. does anyone else have experinece with the OBX intake? i'm leaning a lot more towards the JWT intake either way though. anyone care to give me some advice? thanks

The JWT intake is not much different. It would still be sucking in the same engine bay air that guy is bashing. The only CAI for Maxima is the Place Racing.
