I just got a Pioneer 9200 cd player. It has so many options, i don't even have time to read the manual. Mainly I got it for Pioneer reliability and looks. It also has those trippy looking screensavers.

If you have the extra cash go for an Eclipse Head Unit, they are the best. I had a Pioneer and it blows it away. It dont have any of the fancy unecessary features, its just a pure power radio. No amplifier built in either, strictly RCA output. So you would need to buy a 4 channel amp for your highs. Eclipse also makes models that do have amplifiers built in as well, cost alittle less and still have the same quality. Read my sig, i also have other eclipse speakers and kicker mods as well.

Clarion. Only brand I'll use.

Good mix of great sound, good price, nice features. And My Clarion just won't skip. even while hitting NYC potholes. Even though Eclipse are wonderful, they don't have a detatchable face. Altough they have the security features that kill them if stolen, Most crooks don't know about it and will steal it anyway. It happened to my brother, and a couple other friends in NYC.

I have this and really like it. Nice features, sound, and power for the money. I like the flip faceplate because I am too lazy to keep taking one off and on all the time (although the faceplace will also come off). Also, it is flush with the dash. If you want this (I have seen radios that sick out over 1/2 inch from dash -- I don't like the look), your selection is limited. It's currently $220 at crutchfield after rebate -- not too bad -- http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...DC515S&o=M&a=1
