i just got back from the bodyshop today and they said that it was going to take way more money than the bumper was actually worth to get the front bumper to fit.

- it doesnt line up with the fenders(not even close)Common with most aftermarket bumpers
I'll have Kevin look at it when I get the bumper back to the warehouse

- the mounting places for the turn signals have to be re-fiber glassed to get my turn signals to fit
No, the shop just need to cut a lil piece off so the clip that holds the clear corner lens from behind will be firmly secured. Call Kevin up if you need further instructions.

- parts of it have to be sanded down because of all the trash under neath the gel coat
Every aftermarket bodykit needs a certain degree of sanding down, it's part of the prep work. However, it shouldn't take more than 30-45min per bumper to sand down and prep the piece.

- some places have to re-fiber glassed to even look remotely smoothed

I highly doubt that's the case, however, I'll have Kevin look at it when I get the bumper back to the warehouse.

- it was cracked even before i received it

- no pre-drilled mounting holes to "bolt on" my car
Many aftermarket bodykits do not have mounting holes. A knowledgable install shop should have no problems taking care of that.

Quote:
- the reinforcement had to be completely removed before even considering the bumper to fit
Yes.
