Diagnosed My ECU Codes, what do I do?

Hey,

I know...I know...Take it to a mechanic, or the dealership, and let them fix it, but I'd really like to know exactly what they mean, and be fully informed before I let someone take advantage of my wallet, so any help is appreciated. After completely destroying my car due to defective Intelliglow lights, not only does half of my gauges not work, I pulled the following ECU codes

0504- Automatic Transmission Control Unit Signal to ECU

0104- Vehicle Speed Sensor

Now, does anyone know specifically what these mean, or have had any experience with the same codes, or know around-a-bout how much this is going to drain my checking account?

Also, would buying a completely new gauge cluster (around 140 bucks off of ebay) fix this problem? Thanks.

I got the Tranny Controller code once. It wasn't pretty. Thank god the car was still under warranty.

Nissan had to replace the Tranny Controller.

Sounds like you may have blown the thing.

Yes. Give them NOTHING that seems out of the ordinary or else they will try to peg it on you. Goodluck.
