Removing clearance lights

Ok I don't know if this topic has ever been beaten to death before so take it easy on me if it has. I did a search but it didn't help much. What do i have to do to get these things off? I've taken the screw out and there seems to be something else holding it in. What am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

As the front edge pulls away a bit, it is held in nplace by a pop rivit in a socket...it can just be pulled out but I ALWAYS use a slender flat screwdriver, look in the middle of the front edge fot a metal pin fitting into a white socket and just wedge the tool in and give slight twist to it and it will pop out...feed the rear of the light assembly in first when replacing it and line up the pin and socket and it snaps right back into place...Good Luck!

I went from inside...I have a 97 GXE and was installing aftermarket fogs in the stock position. While I was in there, I stuck my hand back and popped the rear clearance light out...then took 1 screw out holding the front turn signal and was all good.

He is talking about the light next to the headlight. Just make sure you use a cloth around the flathead screwdriver when you pop it out. I chipped mine.
