K&N Fuel Filters?

K&N Fuel Filters?
Just changed my fuel filter last night. 
DAM!!! It took forever to disconnect the fuel lines. When I removed the filter and tried to blow air through it, the thing was well CLOOGED. I'm suprised the fuel pump is strong enough to send gas to the engine. Well I used an OEM filter. The car runs like new. Be suprise what a $15 unit can do..
Back to my question, I know guys on the Org mentioned using the 300Z Fuel Filter. Saying it can prolong the life of the filter. But have any of you used the Billet K&N Fuel Filter? The filter is reusable and has better filtration, so the claim?? There are also variuos sizes to choose from.
