Get under there and turn it. Just see what happens and go from there...

If you park your car 25 feet from a wall, make a mark where your light is hitting now, crawl under there and crank on it a few times (remember which way you turned it!!), and check the wall again. Through process of elimination you should be able to figure it out.

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but you might find some useful info here. I found it in the
FAQ section

How do I reaim my headlights / foglights?
The adjustment bolt closer to the parking/corner lights (outboard of the vehicle) is for the up/down aiming of the headlamp. The one further inboard is to control the right/left aiming of the lamp. You'll need a 10mm wrench to perform the aiming task.

To do the height adjustment, park your car so that the headlamp lens faces are about 25 feet from a wall. This wall should be perpendicular to the ground and level in all aspects. Measure the distance from the center of your headlamps to the ground. Mark this dimension on the wall. From this mark, move down 3.75" to 4" and make another mark. Begin to turn the adjustment bolt so that the centers of your low beam patterns land on that second mark that you made. As for your right to left adjustment, mark the centers vertically and aim so that they point straight out. Bear in mind that sometimes adjusting the right/left bolt can change the setting of the height adjustment slightly.

By the way, the foglamps can be aimed the same way. The foglights are 8mm.

Damn ... there was a link posted a couple of days ago to a really good articles with a diagram of how to re-aim your head and fog lights and I can't find it.

I'll keep on searching and add it to the FAQs.

Yes!

Lite - great taste, less filling: http://www.autooptiks.com/aiming.html

Regular - awesome taste, very filling: http://lighting.mbz.org/tech/aim/

But if you want to get rid of the "dark zone", just adjust the auxiliary lamp up slightly.
