Which is better. a used tranny or a rebuilt new tranny ?

Hey guys i bet people have installed new or used tranny's here on the org i just need advice i am in the market to get one.. i have a 5 speed no slip. Please advice me which one is better to get a used or a rebuilt new one ?

Lots of the remfg ones come with warranties like 12mo/12Kmi. That's worth something to me.

Rebuilts are good but who knows for how long warranty is there but only 1 year. I would search for a low mileage used one as the internals are from the factory so you know it should last for a while.

-if you find a used one, you wont know what it has been through. (someone that likes to grind gears, not using clutch, a teen learning on it) just to name a few......

My opinion would be get a remanufactured/rebuilt one, but its all up to you....
