I know its been mildly discussed before... but does anyone have a book or anything stating specifically the difference between the manual HVAC and Auto HVAC controls?
Obviously the digital control panel...
and I'm assuming a temp. sensor inside and one outside for AMB temp....
would it be/could it be as simple as adding the digital controls and a sensor or do the harnesses in the dash that would hook to the controls be completely different?
Thanks

It might also have a sunload sensor. Our 96 has ATC, and I haven't bothered to figure it out yet. Our last car, a 90 Continental, had auto climate control, and definately had a sunload sensor that would crank up the A/C when there was a lot of sun, so you don't get too hot. Pretty standard, I think. Are you considering a conversion? That sounds somewhat hairy.
