im interested in purchaseing one

how does HID's look on the maxima....is it an improvement on visibilty....is the beam pattern ok...can somebody that has them send me some pics ...

Please read the maxima.org FAQ regarding HIDs for maximas. in short, don't do it.

A friend of mine did the 9006 HID conversion on his 99 I30

The beam was everywhere. It was really intense at night. The lights would shine everywhere blinding anyone 60 degrees left and right and 70 degrees vertically. The 9006 bulb was not intended for the maxima (9004). He got it off a Lincoln Town Car and has traded it with another guy for a 9004 system. He'll install it again. For the money, in my opinion, it's not worth it. If you lighting system goes wacko, then change it. My friend has spent $300 on the system, I'd spend my money elsewhere.
