Which break pads to get for my Maxima?

Hi I do not know much about cars so I would like some help before I purchase some parts for my car. I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima SE, it's time for new beak pad for this car. What is the best performance break pads for this car? Also can you link me to the site where I can purchase it? Thank you

There is another thread going on right now on this same subject. Look around. Personally, I use EBC Greenstuff brake pads. I am not crazy about them. They dust like crazy and the performance is better, but not worth the extra money. I only paid more because I thought they would dust less than my current cheap ones. I was wrong.

It must hurt when you step on the break! If you have a break, put it in a cast. Don't put a break pad on it, a beak pad or a maxi pad.

Anyways, Brake Pads. EBCs have the best characteristics (except for dust) for performance city driving. They are kevlar pads that don't really need much warm up time. They grab like crazy. I had EBC Green pads for a while and I found them better than the Axxis pads I have now. I'm probably going back to EBC on my next change. The initial bite for the EBCs are great! It may save you from getting in to an accident. Easy to break in too.

Sorry to hijack the thread. But, Hi Sprint! Still same old with me. Same job. I still have my 97 SE. Never got around to putting in the laughing juice. Stopped playing with cars and took up a geeky radio hobby. Someone I knew died while going too fast on the highway. That calmed down my thirst for speed a lot. I don't think I drove much for 2 months after that. Started trolling the board about a month ago and read up on the variable intake. Sparked my interest again and I'm waiting for mine to arrive. =)

i got metal masters for cheaper than oem, they perform a lot better, hardly dust, and don't squeek.

i haven't washed my car in over a month...and there isn't much visible break dust on the rims.

overall good deal.

whoa i think this is an old thread... I'm still running on the same pads that were on when i bought the car. The car squeels like hell still and I am probably still sticking to goin back to OEM pads. One question... how is the brake dust on OEM pads? It's recommended to change all 4 pads right? Thanks

Where could you buy metal masters at wholesale price?
