remote mania

went to nissan for a new remote
that'l be $250 bloke

went to the maxima forum
and read about this hohum

got on ebay
only $20 I pay

now I programed the unit
but ive reached a limit

what does the button with the horn like symbol mean?
please tell me so I can feel keen

It rolls your windows up since holding unlock down rolls them down.














Actually it activates the alarm, don't push it unless you have to.

if you hold the unlock button it will roll your 2 front windows down. I wish there was a button that rolled them up.

i don't think that is a horn. i'm pretty sure at least on my remote that it is a light and when you push it the lights inside go on. to activate my alarm i have to hold down the lock button. Windows down have to hold down unlock button

Horn button = booby trap for scaring people looking in your car window!

Or a cheap trick when you tell people theres a surprise on the passenger seat for them(unsuspecting mothers/girlfrinds/wives etc) so they stick their nose real close, then you attack!

nevermind i feel stupid now it is a panic button, but still when i push it my inside lights come on. to get my horn to start goin off i have to hold down the lock button

to make the panic work when you push the "horn" button you have to hold it down for at least 1.5 seconds according to the manuel

I bought the remote and the dealer did not know how to program it. Does anybody know how to program it
