1995-1996 Grill Removal?...

Okay I DID search but only found threads on 1997-1999 grill removal, which didn't help. I took off the two screws in the corners and the to clip below them, but it still won't come off. Do I have to remove the three screws in the middle behind the emblem? If so, that space is really small, how did you get to it?
Thanks,
-Cyrus

nah you dont have to unscrew those 3 little screws...i took mine out to paint it and attemted to do this at first..its impossible almost..my friend got it for me i think he removed that entire big piece connected to the grill with the 3 screws from the car. Ill ask my friend tomorrow to be certain how he got it off. I know for a fact he did not take those 3 screws out

Those three screws you're referring to are plastic. Just insert a small flathead screwdriver through the meshing of the grill to get acces to the screw heads. Turn the screw a quarter turn and pull the grill away from the car. Be careful, did I mention they're plastic? The heads on these screws is square and will pass through the grill once the head is turned about a 1/4. Look closer and you'll see what I'm talking about. To reinstall the grill, remove the 3 plastic screws from the grill opening and insert back into grill. Just snap grill back into place and reattach the other connectors you've all ready removed. Hope this helps.

Any news? I think you're the only person who knows what I'm talking about - these are three metal screws that attatch the plastic piece off the frame to the grill.
Thanks,
