slow slow slow

I have a question.

The only thing non stock that I have in my 99 se/auto is k&n air filter.

ok here is my issue.... getting to 70 is really fast.. i like it, but from 70+ it take a while to get anywhere. I mean i had a saturn sc2 coupe which is not as fast as the max by any means, but i figured it would have more oomphf... anyone got a clue as to why this is?

hit your overdrive button on your shifter to turn off 4th gear. that helps a lot.

well maximas are quick cars, but the auto tranny sucks, you could be like me and do a 5speed swap, or get a y-pipe, i had kinda the same problem, it would have to climb hard to get up to 100 or so, but with the y-pipe problem solved get a budget y-pipe $162 shipped and does wonders especially top end

I have probably read this before, but does the y-pipe change the sound of the car? I also, i heard it only adds 8-10hp. Is that much a noticeable difference?

Whats a good budget Y pipe?

Maybe maintenance? When' s the last time you changed your feul filter? They're only supposed to go every 15K miles. When I 1st got my car, I could not get it over 125 mph. Changed the feul filter and bammm! 140 +

budget is the name of the company, dont go with warpspeed. is over $100 more and they have bad costomer service, a y-pipe will give 12-15hp and trust me you will notice it, it gets rid of that high end lag on auto's, trust me it will be the best $160 u ever spend on your car

lame comment, n00b. Generally max's don't have a decent top end; in other countries there is a variable intake system to compensate for this.
