would i be better off getting an aftermarket alarm than purchasing a remote, and how hard is it to install one? i never messed with an alarm but i do have lots of experience with car audio and know just about everythingwhen it comes to that, and does it get any harded when u had remote start and stuff?

Unless you really want the remote start feature, I would just grab another keyfob off ebay or from the nissan dealership. I paid someone to install my aftermarket alarm. I stood there and watched him for a while and believe me, it was worth every penny of the $150!!! Granted it took him about 10 hours to install, but he got it done in just one day.
