How do I install new bulbs for corner (parking lights 1157 next to headlight)?????
I looked to see if it just snapped in like the headlight, but did not see anything, so I unscrewed that top screw on the bracket and tried to pry it out. I stopped right away because it seems like there is another screw holding it in. Where is this screw, and how do install the bulbs?
Thanks,
Dan

It must be a small world because I just finished doing the same exact job. I tried to pry the light out and it wouldn't budge so I stuck my hand behind the light and took out the lamp without taking the light assembly off. All you have to do is to follow the wire to the lamp, twist it counter-clockwise and it comes right out. Be warned though because it takes a while to put the new lamp into the housing. Hope this helps.

ya it can be difficult trying to get the bulb in, but its a simple twist below the housing, i once took the entire corner out to get the bulb in, dont do that, it makes it slightly more conplicated

Corners are pretty hard to get out the first time you take them out, but after the first time they get easier. There is the top screw on top that you unscrew, then you have to pull as hard as you can and pop out the *** on the bottom left. DONT BE BASHFUL. Its Gonna take some muscle and it shouldn't break. Keep working at it and they will eventually pop out. Its a lot easier than pulling the corner out a little and trying to stick your hand behind the light to change the bulbs. I would know, I did that the first time for one of the lights because it wouldn't come out. Good Luck.

There's a ball joint and socket type fastener on the bottom of the corner light housing. After you take the screw off the top, you need to get a flash light and long flat screwdriver. Pull on the front of the light or wrap the screwdriver in some cloth and pry the front out a little. Once it's about 1/4-1/2 inches out, shine the flashlight in there and you should see the joint. You just need to slide the tip of the screwdriver in between the ball and socket and give a twist. It should just pop out.
Now for the secret to never having this trouble again. Put some grease in that socket before you pop the housing back in. Next time you'll be able to get it out with just a slight tug.
or..
If you have small hands or have a kid who can help, you can just skip taking out the housing and try reaching the bulb from the engine bay side. The bulb socket sticks down from the housing and requires a twist to pop the bulb out. Very tight fit though.

Yeah its hard alright. Not only did I chip my passenger side light trying to do it, I left a huge crack going all the way across the damned thing. I just said screw it, I'm going to leave it alone. I wouldn't reccomend just using brut forced to remove it
