I AM CONFUSED!!!!!

Here are the symptoms:

1. Car is idling lower than normal (automatic)
2. When floored there is a bit of "lugging"
(a) this "lugging" occurs between idle and 4000rpm. From 4000rpm on up to 6500rpm it doesn't "lug" but the time it takes to get to 6500rpm is long.
3. Sufficient power loss
4. Feels like the car is trying to push a brick through it. (I don't know how else to describe this)

Any and all help is appreciated!!

what is "lugging"? do you mean a hesitation?

could be a bad sensor, or bad fuel injector. maybe even bad gas. are you getting a check engine light?

No CEL

I already cleaned the TB.
I also replaced the fuel filter today.
I put in "Iso-heat" which removes water from the fuel tank
I also put some other fuel cleaner thing (can't remember)

FYI
I have checked the air filter and all intake for restriction...none
I checked ignition coils for voltage and resistance...normal

Any other ideas?

checked transmission fuel lately?

i know when my buddy's AT went it wouldn't idle when cold.. and after a while it wouldn't shift.. it would hold the rpms for a while.. so you might be in the early stages..

check tranny related stuff next

I'd check your wiring -- specifically, near your MAFS and coils.

good luck!

I am 99% sure it's not tranny because I re-gapped spark plugs (I am getting new ones today) and the low idling went away. Besides that I just had the transmission rebuilt about a year ago.

Off topic. Would it help anyone understand what's going on if I told you to stick out your tongue and make the vibration with your tongue at low speed. THAT IS WHAT MY CAR SOUNDS LIKE!!
