Wiring help. (Speed signal & RPM signal)
Wiring help. (Speed signal & RPM signal)
I only have a Chiltons Manual. I wasn't able to find it.
Can someone tell me how and where to find the speed signal harness and the rpm signal harness?
Thanks!

Thanks KMax and Toolrocks. That definitely helps. Thing is, I don't see the white/green on tool rocks picture for the rpm but, using toolrocks picture, I think the other wire I am lookin for is the P/L wire? What color is that?
I posted the picture because I wasn't really sure which wire you'd need for the speed sensor. It looks like the sensor has two wires that go directly to the back of the speedo, the signal from the ECU is probably 5 volts that gets sent through the sensor and returns as a lower voltage depending on vehicle speed. I assume P/L is Pink w/ Lavender stripe. The picture also shows where on the ECU harness to find the wire. The white and green for the tach signal is located at either the back side of the tach and can be picked up from the screw labeled TAM behind the gauge cluster or off of the ECU. Good luck. Fyi, I spliced into the ECU harness for my rpm switch signals (one for shift light and one for rpm switch) and it's kinda tricky getting the wires together. You'll see what I mean it's real tight w/ a ton of wires.
As for my thumb nail, I needed it in the picture to hold down the page that was trying to close. Since it was going to be on a national website, I figured I'd better bite it down real nice and clean. hehe be glad it wasn't a middle finger nail.
