Shaving trunk emblems: Help please!

I was interested in taking the emblems off of my trunk. You know, the Nissan logo and the letters Maxima. I was wondering if there is a good preferred way to do this, or if there are any good how-to's anywhere on the internet. Also, I was wondering if when you take the letters off, are you left with the spot of bright brand new looking paint where the emblems were? My maxima is a 95, and I live in Arizona. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Fishing line, run back and forth b/t the emblem and trunk itself. then you will have glue there. just rub it off with your finger tip with pressure on it. then wax and buff so you still dont see the outline of where they were.

SEARCH!!!

most folks use fishing line...on a hot day, I used a credit card to
cut it off...after taking off the emblems, be sure to clean thoroughly
and use a clay bar to make it really smooth.

hope this helps,
