It will be about a month to a month and a half till I can get this fixed, anything I can do in the meatime to keep it in good running order? Also it is leaking from around the driver CV axle, so have I diagnosed this problem successfuly? Thanks guys.

If you are just leaking around the axles, you proabably just need to put in new seals. Not too hard to do. But if you are getting the whining noise of bad bearings, you need a rebuild.
Yes, you can just keep topping up the fluid till you get to replace the seals.

changed the driveshaft seals today. costed $24 for left and right sides. Easy to take out, but not so easy to put back in. I would use a huge socket as large as the seal, put on top of seal, and hammer in. Or you can used a wood block. We used both methods today and it was very easy.
