Well I just took pics next to an Acura TL and I blew it away... MUCH brighter bluer looking light. Ill have the pics up next weekend... Ill let yall know when I get them. As for deciding which kit to get - the 7000 or 8000, I also couldnt decide. Im glad I chose this one. I have already gone past a cop and even stopped and talked to one with the lights on - NO PROBLEM so far.

Thats sweet, ive seen the 6k kits and those look nice. The 7K is more of a purple accent to it, like u seen on Bmw and porsche's so im betting those 8k have a strong purple accent to it, i just want to see how deep of a color it is. if its too deep for my liking ill jsut go with 7K but this decision rest on the pics u put up so ill be waitin.

8000k are CRAZY. I used to have a set and I loved them. The color is blue but I don't think it's so blue that you'll have any problems if they're aimed right. I know I didn't.

Also it's next to impossible to truly capture the color or HID lights with a camera. At least I've never seen any good pics.

are the hid's dual filament bulbs so you can retain the high beams?

also, are they plug/play or is some modification required.

I don't think they even have a filament. But yes you will lose your High beams. This lights are so bright that you won't even need High beams.
I will order some from freddie and I had the same question as if they were plug and play. Well here is his answer "the hanabi hid kits are plug & play. the only thing you will need is 2
25amp fuses. your car is now using 2 15amps now. the 2 fuses are next to
the battery under the hood."
I will be ready to buy one of these kits for my max in like a couple of weeks.
