Results of Starter Maintenance and cleaning of ground wires

I performed maintenance on my starter which had started to not start on 1st crank. Removed starter and cleaned all mechanical parts with Electrical Spray cleaner, Lubricated all gears and metal parts with AMSOIL Synthetic high temp grease. Cleaned all starter electrical connections with Dremel tool. Grease in starter was dried up and very thick. Cleaned all ground connectors and bolts with dremel tool. Ground connectors behind head lights and under battery base plate were attached to pained surfaces, only ground path was through bolt. I consider this an unsatisfactory ground connection! I used dremel tool and polishing stone to remove paint and primer, all connectors are now bare metal on bare metal the way it should be! The car starts so much faster on the first crank I wouldn't believe it unless I saw it for myself. The radio also sounds so much better, it is much brighter. This was an unexpected benefit. Car also performs better, smoother and faster. With the painted grounds from factory it is easy to understand why hyper grounds work! Painted ground connections would affect both old and new cars. Plan on cleaning IAC next!

Hmm..i think i need to be doing that also as soon as the weather starts to get warmer. I like the idea of using a dremel tool to clean the ground surface. I found another use for mine now But for now, I will have to put up with the whizzing noise under my hood till spring Any idea where i can purchase the amsoil synthetic grease??? Thanks for any response, ~Frank
