re: lowest miles on a 4th gen
Hey Guys, you want to talk about low miles on a 4th generation, check this out:
I bought a 1998 SE in 1999 with 27,000. Ok someone put on 27,000 miles in 1-year right? Well now the car is at 35,500. That means that I put on (35500-27000 = 8500; 8500/4 = 2125) a little over 2,000 miles on the car each year, for 4 years. Now I am the one that needs to get a life.
The hell with this, then there is no point in changing the oil if you are supposed to do it every 3,000 miles
You want to hear something interesting though? (This by the way has nothing to do with Maximas). Before I owned the Max, I had a 1985 Chevrolet Nova. It is a totally awesome car as far as reliability goes, and it is basically the same thing as a Toyota Corolla. 1.6L in line 4. I can say very good acceleration for a four-banger. Parts are extremely cheap for this car, and it is very easy to maintain. Now can you believe this: The thing broke on me for the first time at 482,000 miles. I will be getting another one next week, and using it as a winter car, and will drive the Max spring-fall. I found a very good one at a dealer by my house. It is an 1987 with 79,000 miles, which is excellent, and the price is $2700. Not bad. I highly recommend this car to anyone who wants a second reliable car, and if any one of you has doubts, you can e-mail me at peter42685@hotmail.com and I will change your decisions.
