Anybody have 00-03 Maxima tails molded into there 95-99?

Yeah I was just curios to see if anybody has had this done to there 95-99 Max. I realize some people hate these tails and some people think they rock. I was curious to see if anyone has done this and if they have pictures of it if so. My opinion is that they'd look pretty nice, but like I said its a love it or hate it thing. Please dont bother to reply if you hate it, cause I really dont want to hear your diss'n.

Notice how noone's replyng?

Seriously, I htink most people prefer the 95-96 or 97-99 tails to the 2k+ ones.

personally, I love the 97-99 tails cleared out, and the 95-96 tails cleared out look almost as good.

The 2k+tails, well, you said no dissing, so I'm just not going to say anything.....

It also seems next to impossible to shape it to fit, they are significantly different outlines. Aren't you really just talking about altezza's?

Didn't mean any disrespect, just don't see how it could be done as they are very different. And my opinion, which you can disagree with, is that the '00-'03 are 'altezza' style. That's why I don't like them, personally. Just an opinion.

Sorry to PH

But I would be interested to see if anyone has converted their 95-96 tailights to 97-99. By molding, or buy buying clears and painting the top red. I preffer the upper grill and the speed of the 95-96, but I preffer the lower gill of the 97-99 as well as their red clears.

Any one made 97-99 red clears (I know they are not interchangable) for their 95-96.

or

Has anyone done a front end conversion where they kept the upper grill (where the hamburger is) of the 95-96, but put the 97 -99 lower grill on (where the fog lights are?)

Wow...I wonder who did that conversion. Looks mint by the way.

And all iansw was trying to say is that it doesnt take long for people on this board to give a good reply to something that is fesible. Yeah, you could probably mold em in, you could mold anything. But it would deinately not be an easy plug and play operation.

I think it would be a waste of money. That would be alot to mold them, I think they look alright, but id never spend the money to do that. The 97-99 clear tails are sooo much better.

It would look like a dodge neon.

Not a great photoshop job, but you get the idea ... it's not worth anymore patience to finish ...

Abd how come they never made these taillights? Funny how they still use that picture too. Those tails have a smoked lower half of them too.

I kinda had a diffrent way of doing it in mind. I would cut into the trunk sides alittle to allow room for them to fit correctly. The picture of those tails is to small. the tails would be bigger than that in reality. I never said i wanted to do it, just asked if anybody had. Apparently not. lol
