Oops, broke a stud on my spoiler
Hello all,
Being an advance do it yourselfer, I tried to remove my spoiler in order to fix the rust on the trunck lid. In the process I broke a rusted stud. The other 3 studs are fine (no rust). I would like to save the spoiler as it is in good shape and all the LEDs work fine.
Does anybody know how to replace a stud? Is it possible?
Thanks for your help,
Stephane

I'm SOL too ... I just tried to remove my rear spoiler because after almost 10 years, I am starting to see rust bubbles around the spoiler mount. Anyway, I broke a stud coz the nut and stud were rusted badly, a bit hesitant to continue with the other three.
So for those who have removed/installed the factory spoiler, can you explain the contruction of the spoiler mounting (stud - removable or not, etc). Some insight would be great before I continue removing the spoiler.
