Whatever you do dont use your maxima key to try and scratch it off, lol i did that and have some scratches from it. Use Goof Off or Goo Gone, Its the best and it will take it off pretty easy with a litte scrubbing

Quick, try the hairdryer... This might work, but you don't want to let it sit too long because the longer it sits, the harder it becomes to get it off... Some people have also used Bug and Tar Remover on it to get the goo off, but be careful with it because it is hard on the paint, if left to dry on it and it is transparent, so just make sure that you wash the car right after cleaning off the goo... Good luck

all you need is a hairdryer, some patience, and strong fingernails.

I just used a hair dryer, goo gone, and a really rough wash cloth and it came off with ease, make sure you wax it or wash your car when you're done

I was thinking of shaving everything off the back of the max. Can I get some opinions? I don't want to take it off and it look to blank. Has anyone done this?

thanks for all the help. the hair dryer is your best bet, then use the clay bar if you have it. bug and tar remover works too but you need to scrub.

Unless you have the trunk keyhole shaved, I dont think it looks good blank. I removed my hamburger, but left the maxima. I am thinking about getting some 5th gen lettering cause I think the black would look good with my sterling mist.

Clay bar can only take off the last little bits of stuff. Try solvents as much as possible, but put some rags on your bumper to keep it off the plastic as much as possible, and wash w. soap & water occasionally. Hair dryer is good advice to loosen it up. I only used my thumbnail (darn near tore it off) and I still have micro-scratches around the edges of the logo, tho hard to see.

Hair dryer and solvents, then finish off w. clay bar.

I don't like the looks of a fully shaved either. My opinion.
