97 GXE squeaks up front

Ok, a while back I had started hearing squeaking noises coming from the front of my car so I decided to just install a new suspension from stock as I was planning. Got Sprints and GR2s.

I had my Sprint/GR2 suspension installed at some local shop and at first everything was OK but then later on there was a lot of noise as if the spring was moving around on the strut as I turned the steering wheel...It would also leave my alignment all crooked. I took it back and it turns out the spring had shifted off of its place. The shifting noise went away.

Now, that original squeaking noise is back along with the kerplunking noise of the spring moving around. Went to shop, got full refund.

Upon inspection of everything, it looks like the strut moves around as well (with hood open, you can see the nut move around as the steering wheel is turned). Also, the shop didn't wrap the first few coils to reduce noise.. and i'm now thinking that maybe they installed the springs backwards. The funny thing is that all the noise is coming from the front right area only.

Anyone have this problem before. Of all things i've done the DIY route, this is the one I regret not having time/tools for

Also, anyone in So. Cali with some suspension experience willing to help diagnose the problem for sure?
