Yea, I used to have this problem before, but no more........... I think you bought the after market bulb that the output is over 85watts. I used to buy MTEC and other brands that its output is more than 85watts. As a result, my fog light bulb kept blowing again and again. Think about that when you have a higher watts bulb, it actually generates more heat. This may cause bulb to blow easily when you operated it for long. I don't know that I am right or wrong. But, when I changed my bulb from MTEC to PIAA which has a lower output. It works and never blows...................... That is just my opinion

I bought 100 watt H-3 bulbs from my local autostore... they are "diamond blue" (superwhite) and the brand is CEC they only cost me $6.99 each. I've had them for about a year now, i run them hours and hours at a time, never had a probs. Also I've got another set of H-3 bulbs the same as above except 55 watt in a different pair of light bulbs... had them for... 2 years now and no probs.

Yeah I had that problem too. But when I got my kit my stock fogs would not fit so I had to get new HID ones. But it is the wattage because of heat. I also burned out my headlamp harnesses because they melted putting in to high wattage of a bulb.
