How in the hell can it clean your fuel injectors when you pour it in the crankcase? I can see the throttle body getting cleaned slightly via crankcase air being sucked in through the PCV, but the fuel injectors? Come on!

I put a bottle of seafoam in my tank this summer, at the same time I cleaned my TB. The guys at the parts store recommended it for a fuel-tank application over the other products they had (and it wasn't any more expensive).
*shrug*...I did a tiny bit of reading on fuel tank additives on the .org, but just enough to convince me that using an additive in general would be ok. Haven't had any ill-advised effects. Car idled real smooth afterwards, but wasn't that rough beforehand, and I did the TB at the same time, so....
