What is the difference between the wet and dry setups. I know that if you get the wet setup, you need an upgraded ecu. But are there performance differences between the two. I am looking at the ZEX setup since it is cheap, but are there any other setups that along that price of 600 dollars. Thanks guys

No..you do not need a ECU upgrade with wet set up.

Actually, you typically don't want a regular ECU upgrade with any nitrous kit. The ECU upgrade must be made for the nitrous kit ie.. the Venom or JWT nitrous kit. Don't run JET, G-Force or UPRD ECU with any nitrous kit.

Quick and dirty summary.

Dry system. Only nitrous is injected into the intake tract. One nozzle flowing nitrous. NOS make dry systems for tons of cars.

Wet system. Nitrous and fuel are injected into the intake tract. There are two types. Single nozzle and direct port. Single nozzle is like the dry kit. One nozzle but it flows nitrous along with fuel. Direct port runs multiple nozzles depends on the applications. Nitrous Express (NX) makes single nozzle wet systems for tons of car. NOS and NX both make direct port system.
