Transmisson Problem Please help me

I drive a 1998 Nissan Maxima and i am having a problem with my transmission. When i am braking or am stopped my car shakes. When I place my car in neutral the shaking stops. then when the car goes back into drive the shaking is back agian. I have brought the car to a nissan dealership and they can't find the problem. The warrenty expires in a couple of months. i've called nissan and they said there is nothing they can do unless the problem occurs while they are road testing my car. it has come about and they say it is normal. i know it is not because i haven't been able to see it in my friends 124,000 mile maxima. i am wondering how to go about getting this fixed. but i need to be able to get it done before the warrenty expires. i want to blow it but the last time i did that in my old car it went after the warrenty expired. so i was out the money. a little backround i baby my car te rpm's never go over 2,500 rpm's when the car is cold. i never beat on my car. no racing or heavy excelration. i want this fixed before the warrenty expires. Any help is greatly appricited. thanks guys
evan

i know this sounds crazy, but turning your rotors may take care of your problem. it's not expensive if you can do the work yourself. less than 10 dollars at autozone.

i wouldn't go messin with the idle. idle shouldn't change unless somebody messed with it. even if changing idle takes care of problem, you would have solved a symptom and not a cause of your problem.

IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) check it or replace it.

Does the RPM drop to about 300-400 ?

If so I recommend changing it, I had the same problem.

You have a bad idle caused by a misfire or weak cykinder of some type. It's amplified through the transmission when you have the car in D or R because you now have a slight load on it.

Check your spark plugs, coils & look for a vacuum leak. Do an entire fuel system cleaning as well. (Intake and injectors) Make sure you have no codes in your ECU.

no changing plugs, wires cleaning tb etc is not part of the warranty unless performed when you bring the car in for regular service maintenance intervals. Further, they will not change/work on anything unless they can prove that is that cause or if that part is indeed in need to be replaced. And it's warranty not "warrenty"...

clean the Throttle body please and check the alternator. I had a combination of both. If the alternator is a bit weak it might cause low idle etc. And your lights don't have to dim all time either.
