I don't have an intake system yet and I would also like to know if anyone has this system or heard anything about it. Is it possible to just change the cone filter to a k&n? Sorry, im new at all of this.

They are offered on ebay like that. Just type in 'maxima cold' and you'll see plenty of choices. Most with the K&N filter run $89-$110 with 'buy it now'. They seem to be the Bomz units retrofitted with the K&N filter.
