What brand sway bar is it? The Stillen mounts differently than the Addco. If you have an Addco, I'll take a pic of mine and send it to you. Or, go to:

Do you have instructions for mounting it?

For Stillen, go here for installation:
http://www.greghome.com/Greg's%20Garage/2002MaxSE/StillenRSB.htm

For Addco, got here for picture of installed RSB: http://rcheng.home.mindspring.com/Ma...ges/addco1.jpg

Ask a friend to help you. 3-4 hands are a big help.
Also, you may have to back-off emergency brake adjuster slightly after you are done installing RSB. You will know if your rear brakes drag when you drive off. This is not mentioned anywhere.

Good luck. Have fun on the curves.

You should lube all the bushings lightly. Don't use a petroleum based grease.

There are good instructions on www.maxima.org, direct link is https://maxima.org/shoptalk/sub_modi...sb/index.shtml

What, you thought it was just a forum?

Once you get under the car you'll see where everything goes, it's very straightforward. Good luck.
