Question about dash kit

I found what seems to be a good price on a carbon fiber dash kit but I am not eactly sure if its the right thing. Its made for the 4 gen maxima. The thing is its 1/16 of inch material with adhesive backing and it says that it fits right over the current dash kit. What I would like to know is this the smae thing the people are offer on here in group deals. Like the crome dash kit from southwest auto works? If not has anybody used one of the that covers over your existing dash kit? Do they look ghetto? DOes anybody have pictures of one on there car? Preferably a carbon fiber kit with brown dash? I do not want to by some bootleg kit but I also would rather save 100$ if I can. Thanks in advance.

My CF kit form Joshua Tree goes right over the existing dash. i think it looks sweet. I have a pic on my homepage somewhere, but it's not a good one.

Don't install it, dry fit it to see if you like how it looks/fits.

No one's going to take back a dash kit that's been installed and then removed.

How do you remove these trim pieces without f**king up the plastic under it?

Kinda can't. You'll most likely fu/ck up the dash kit, and leave adhesive all over the stock pieces.

Well the dash kit itself will obviously be messed up, but is there a way that you wont mess up the actual dash (the black plastic underneath)? I just don't want it to crack, residue is fine, because I can get another dash kit. I am thinking about replacing because my wood dash kit is starting to fade.

Just be extra careful taking it off. If you don't care about the dash kit getting messed up, then you can basically just pull it off. Maybe use some goo-gone to release the adhesive and make it easier to remove.
