Maxspeed/GR2 Installed

I just got this combo installed. I noticed that its not that much firmer than the stock SE suspension, but a little firmer. Does the suspension get firmer or softer as it settles in?

I did notice that I have a little bit of a bounce. Is this only because this is my first day driving with the new suspension? Will this go away once things settle in? It is kind of annoying.

Also, How long will the springs take to fully settle and get to their lowest position?

Here are the before and after pics, the AFTER pics are on page 2:

Let me know what you think, thanks!

I get the same bounce from H&R/AGX. I'm pretty sure it is due to the stiffer struts.

Njmaxseltd has checked about this and he says that Tokicos offer a ride that absorbs the little imperfections and don't have that bounce that the stiffer struts have. Correct me if I'm wrong Tom.

How long have you had this combo? Does it go away?

Well I wouldn't put nice rims on during the winter.

There's two things that help with the bounce.

1) Softer/smoother front struts (Tokico are valved much different then AGX)

2) Motivational upper rear strut mounts (More suspension travel) You can leave the AGX in the rear, their valving is firm and will hold the rear beam to the road much better. You can also dial in the rear damping to match the front per/load in your trunk or back seat if you leave the adjustables in the rear.

What can I do if I have the GR2's? Is this going to stay forever?

Meccanoble, I am getting new rims soon. These 15 inchers came with my car when I got it. They don't look too bad... but they are small and they are chrome, plus you saw the dirty version, haha.

When and if you toss the 15's and get 16's or 17's some of that bounce will firm up.

Could this problem have come about by not cutting the bump stops? If they aren't cut, could excessive bouncing be the outcome, or does this only affect bottoming out? I have had no problems so far in bottoming out so far....... anyone's thoughts?

Do you think this guy's problem is being caused by the GR-2's? Are the Tokicos softer than the GR-2's then, Tom?
