I was on the BQE around 4:30am and I wanted to see just how fast the WRX was, so tailed him a little. That's when we took off, I was not impressed, I kept up with him till around 80-90 then that's where he started to pull away, but not by much. Then we slowed down when we hit a little over a 100. I was expecting a lot more from that car. By the way I he had an exhaust and maybe some other stuff. I only have a mid pipe and filter.

 

I don't know about you, but the BQE dosn't strike me as he type of highway you can go 100+ mph on. Too many curves and road bumpiness.

That WRX runs around the same as a 5th Gen Maxima, 4wd is only good for 0 to about 80, then its acceleration goes down crasy style, The Maxima is made for high speed with a v6 it just keeps on climbing, VQ monster HAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHAH

 

are u auto or manual? they are great off the line, dont expect to beat on from a light, but i also wasnt impressed when i ran my friends wrx from 40-85, i hear they kinda sh*t out on the highway

 

it's because of the awd transfer case. my friends impreza 2.5, not an wrx but an awd subura, it tops out at 130mph.
