I just want to do something different and wanted to know if it would work. I really wasn't sure if my performance would improve by that or not, but i would like to think it would, but i'm assuming the gear ratios are closer. If not then i'll just have better gas mileage, which i need anyway. But that's for the reply anyway!

The bolt pattern is different..I talkted to a tech the other day at nissan, that i know and freinds with, he said the 01' 5speed tranny will fit and has stronger gears but the bolt pattern on the 6speed is different
