question for member who installed their own struts/springs...

I recently bought a set of used Eibachs and a set of new AGXs. Is there anything else I'm going to need to install these? My friend is going to help me install them at his body shop. I just want to make sure I'm not missing stuff. Thanks

btw....I know this has been covered before, but I wasn't getting the answer I was looking for by searching.

just a spring compressor and basic tools is all you need.

Spring compressor (as mentioned above), jack (duh) and at least 2 jack stands. Air compressor helps a lot. Also, my two bolts holding the front struts onto the steering knuckles were frozen on there., I used a propane torch to heat and they came off taht way.

2 New Strut bearings
New Spring Isolators, 4 up front, 2 in the rear
New dust covers - OEM or KYB

Also, on the top housing of the spring in front, (Top, black part), look for the "OUT" writing - this must go outwards from the car when you put it back in.

On the mount (above the above part, fits into it) - there is a "F". This faces Frontward.

Enjoy!
