mechanic cant pull code, says nothing is wrong

My car was idling bad, the rpms would stay the same .5 to .9 but the car would tremor a little bit and hesitate on acceleration. After reading multiple posts about this problem i decided that the coil packs were going bad and it was misfiring.

I take it to my dealer as it is still under warranty and told them this, they said they will hook it up to a cpu and see.

I just called them and they said they did not find any thing wrong with it. I explained to him it only idles violently after i get off the interstate, he thinks when i did the ECU check method as posted in the sticky it cleared the error code, thus, they arent repairing it, they obviously didnt drive it right.

what the hell do i need to say to them to fix this problem? i cant stand it, it drives like a 4 cylinder, it shakes randomly when i idle at a light, and,, it ****es me off to say the least

any help is welcome

thx

Yeah well when you do the ECU check you reset the code. Did you pull the code if so what the the numbers???

Second you could wait for the check engine light to come back on and then take it back too the dealer.

see the check engine light flickered,, for 1 second, that was it, but all the symptoms tell me its misfiring..

sigh,, i just dont want to pay the damn diag fee, i think its ridiculous, that no matter what you tell them, they will only fix it if the computer says it is bad, like what i say doesnt matter, which boils down to, what the forum says,

sigh.,.,

/me bends over and prepares for the reeming
