I was under my car today to try to find out why its banging around, and well i found two hangers, one on the b-pipe and one before the cat rusted. Im replacing it in the next few weeks but i think the reason it bangs is because of a thin bar that kinda supports the b-pipe just behind the resonator (where the pipe is crushed down). Would i cause any harm removing this bar? (its about a foot wide and 1/2 inch thick) The pipe doesnt rest on it either.
