Bump Stops..guide?

Im about to lower my I30 this weekend and figured I may as well cut the bump stops in the process for the clearance. Problem is, since the OEM's are ridiculously expensive for such a crappy part, I don't want to fudge up cutting the originals. Been looking for a 'guide' or pictures showing the proper way to cut them. I managed to find an image of cut bump stops but I guess they were cut wrong so didn't help too much. If anyone has an image of properly cut bump stops (front and rear, or maybe just rear cause it's easy to access with a digital camera) it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry no pics, but I can give you some info. The fronts are very easy. Up inside the dust cover you'll find the bump stop. It's snapped up into the cover. On some it's yellow on others is black. You really can't miss it, it's a rubber piece with rings on it. Cut one or two rings off and your all set.

The rear really can't be cut without distroying them. Your better off getting the KYB dust boots for the rear. I believe Cattman sells them.

Is it necessary to take the strut assembly off for this... or is it possible to cut the front bump stops while they r on the car?
