Installed Y-Pipe

I can't even notice my cattman y-pipe on car. I thought it's supposed to be louder?

the sound should change that much...there should only be a slight increase in sound, but if its quiet, take it as a good thing.
if you have a stock bpipe and muffler, then you have a lot of resonation after the ypipe, quieting the sound.

Do you still have the stock b-pipe and exhaust on there?

are you looking for it to be louder, or are you looking for more performance? Can you feel the difference, performance wise? If you want you car to be louder than stock, go with an intake and/or aftermarket cat-back...

i drove for a while today and maybe i do hear something there. i have everything stock, and i wanna keep it this way. and about the cloged cat...does it even happen? i have only 53k miles on the car. and performance wise, i don't know beacuse i didn't drive my car long enough, i bought the car, i got a good deal on y-pipe and i installed it. also another question: with intake installed will y-pipe give better performance and if YES, by how much? i wanna keep stock air box, maybe remove some resonators if it will make a difference.

nothing is wrong with your cat...its fine.
an intake will complement the ypipe, and you will get gains.
taking out resonators wont give gains, but it will add sound.
im guessing if you add a short ram intake, it would probably give you about 6hp additional to your ypipe gains.

if you haven't already, reset your ecu.

oh, thank's. i almost forgot about reseting my ECU, will do it tomorrow morning. this is how-to right:

To reset the engine light is a simple procedure.
1. Turn the selector screw clockwise to its stop.
2. Wait 2 seconds.
3. Return back by turning the screw counterclockwise to its stop.
4. IMMEDIATELY REPEAT steps 1 to 3.
The next time you start your engine, the check engine light should go away!

if u have a fault code then it's not gonna just go away. it is possible that the problem somehow got fixed by itself, otherwise, the light will come back on. read here.
