Brake light is on
Brake light is on
ok guys i did a search to no avail. all i have found in searches is to check my brake fluid level. thats not it. this issue stated maybe a month ago on my way to work the brake light came on. it would come on once in a while and turn off lome time later. it seemed to be especially likely to come on when it was exceptionally cold(< 30ish). anyway now it is doing it all the time and i was hoping you guys would have some ideas.
thanks,
hanniel

Three things will cause the brake light to come on.
1) Low fluid - Maybe the sensor has gone bad too??
2) Your E-brake warning switch - again, has it gone bad??
3) (this one is good) If your alternator bites the dust, your brake light and battery light will come on. So, does your battery warning light work? If your battery warning light bulb is out and your alternator goes south, then your only going to get a brake light on.
Now go do some trouble shooting.
