Need help fixing CEL after VI install

Harold (hlh0501) and I installed my VI today, and he did an excellent job on the install. I left his house and 15 mins later my CEL came on. I pulled the codes and they are: 0705 (EVAP Control System) and 0903 (EVAP Canister vent control valve). Anyone know how to fix these codes? Im guessing that these mean the Evaporative emmisions control system. Thats about all I can figure out from them, any help appreciated.

If I rememebr correctly, both those valves are by the charcoal canister under the left rear wheel. You just take the valves apart, WD40 it, and put it back together. They tend to rust out alot, or sometimes get water in 'em. Mine actually got leaves stuck in them.

Yes, its just for emissions and won't effect the performance of the car. I pulled a 0903(evap control valve) took the valve off and sprayed WD-40 in it, reset my ECU and so far so good. Just look for a black box behind the left rear wheel. Then on the side facing the tire there is a piece that looks like its part of the box with two bolts attaching it to the box. take the bolts off and spray WD-40 in the valve and that should fix the 0903. I don't know though if you have to do something else for the other code but its in the same area.

good luck
