OK, I have read about putting GS400 wheels on my 4th gen maxima... and today I am going to go the shop to find out how much it would cost. What exactly am I asking for them to do, and does anyone know the exact sizes of the GSmiddle originally and what it needs to be. Thanks, I'll let you all know how it goes.

cool. i bought some. enlarge or rather machine the center bore to match nissan's hub at 66.1mm. wheels are hubcentric so needs to be very accurate. then find some lug nuts that have the nissan thread pitch but the lexus type shank and washer as mike austin told me.

i've never seen a pair with the l-symbol

I have a question about your wheels in your sig!!! For some reason they look like larger factory 95-96 SE rims. They are only 15" Rims right?? Is this just photoshoped or is it just the picture???

I'm about to do the same

I'm hoping to get a set of Gs400 wheels and machine out the center or shave the center hub. Maybe a little of both. I'll see how much the wheel will take.

WOW

The wheels and tires were a really good deal for you. The machining sure cost a lot of money. I'm supposed to get my set of GS400 wheels pretty much brand new with tires. The guy I'm buying them from switch to 18's when he brought the car home from the dealer. He's selling for $750, which I thought was a great deal. If boring out the center hub is $200, I may have to rethink things.

I had lower quotes on the machining. This guy is really a pro and has done this for 2 other Max owners. BTW, I got an extra set of tires in the deal.

where are you located

The guy who machined mine charged me $100 to do mine. It'll cost $50 or so to do another persons' wheels. $50 was charged to write the program for the machining machine. He's located in Huntington Beach and does all sorts of automotive parts.

WOW...so you paid $100 total for 4 rims? that's a great deal. Boy,...if you were to combine Kenneth's deal on the rims and your deal on the honing...there would be no beating that price for the total out the door and installed... :c)

We are located in Austin,Tx...but thanks for the info Kevin.

i paid 225 for machining, needed to remove tires (so they could fix inside the machine) and re-balance them. all in effect, was more than originally thought but me and my parents like them which is pricless. no digi cam
